So I’m at the coffee shop yesterday and doing my thing and this young barista girl starts gossiping about Millie Bobby Brown getting married. “She’s only 20!” the girl says to her mate. “That’s mental, innit?” I’m thinking, “Yeah, that is so young,” and then I remember my nan was married at 19, and she and granddad were together for 60 years.
But here’s the kicker: the barista has a point. Is Millie Bobby Brown married? Yes, she is, and it’s a rather sweet story, really.
The Sneaky Wedding Thing
Millie and Jake, he’s Jon Bon Jovi’s son, by the way, had two weddings. One in May 2024, the other in Tuscany in September. And it’s impressive how they kept both quiet.
My mate Carol’s still moaning about her wedding photos ending up on someone’s Facebook without permission, and that was three years ago. In the meantime, these two got married twice over with zero snaps by paparazzi. That must have cost a fortune in NDAs, but good for them.

When you are young and in love, you don’t want some middle-aged mother telling you that you are bonkers for getting married.
But here’s the thing: I was married by 21, and that was considered normal back then. Nowadays, everyone acts as if you need a PhD in relationships before you can walk down the aisle. Perhaps Millie and Jake know something that the rest of us do not.
The Adoption Bombshell
Just as you think things couldn’t get any more dramatic, in August 2025, Brown and Bongiovi revealed they had become parents through adoption. According to their Instagram post, a baby girl.
My mate Christy showed me the pictures; they are completely chuffed to bits. They were recently spotted on their first stroll out with their baby girl in SoHo, all protective and joyous. Really makes you wonder if they’d been plotting this forever, or if it all happened quite quickly.
My sister adopted her daughter when she was 25, and she said it was the best thing she had ever done. But at 20? That’s proper commitment. Most people that age can barely keep a houseplant alive, let alone raise a child.

Can we just discuss how insane it is that Millie Bobby Brown is now related to Jon Bon Jovi? I mean, the woman went from fighting monsters in Hawkins to having a Sunday roast with a rock legend. That’s quite the upgrade from small-town Indiana.
Jake is good, though; he seems like he’d be a decent lad. He has been with Millie since 2021, so it’s not like they’re in any rush here. Three years is a pretty solid relationship by today’s standards, especially when you’re famous and everyone’s watching your every move.
The Public Reaction

Look, everyone keeps going on about how young they are. Twenty and twenty-two; and, sure, it is young. Yet my neighbour’s son married at 19 and had three children by 25, and they are still together 15 years later. Sometimes it just works.
Most young couples break up. I should be an expert; I’d been in about six “serious” relationships before meeting my husband at 28. But maybe Millie’s different. What I love about these two is that they’re not creating this huge spectacle about everything. Could have sold wedding photos to the mags for millions. Could have done some reality TV nonsense. Instead, they had quiet ceremonies and moved on with their lives.
Now they have a baby daughter. Saw the pics; they look completely knackered but happy. Proper new parent vibes. Shows they’re serious about this whole family thing, not just playing house because they can afford to.

So is Millie Bobby Brown married? Yeah, she is, and she looks chuffed about it. Will it work out? Your guess is as good as mine. Loads of marriages fall apart, young or old.
