Jaidyn Alexis Is Holding It Together
Javaughn J Porter’s mum is working overtime. Jaidyn’s got him, plus his five-year-old little sister, Journey Alexis Porter. Journey was born in August 2020, smack dab in the middle of lockdown, which must’ve been a nightmare on its own.
Everyone always refers to Jaidyn Alexis as “Blueface’s baby mama”, like that’s all she is. She’s actually trying to make music happen. She’s on Instagram and TikTok. She’s raising two kids on her own because their father can’t seem to stay out of jail.
Her relationship with Blueface is a mess. They’re together, they’re not together, they’re posting couple photos, and they’re slagging each other off online. It changes weekly. Imagine living that while trying to pack school lunches and do bedtime routines.
Dad’s Been Inside Since January 2024
Johnathan Michael Porter Sr, who is Blueface’s real name, is currently incarcerated in Lancaster State Prison. He was sentenced to four years in 2024 for shooting a gun in Las Vegas. He has been inside since January 2024.
The Johnathan Jamall Porter release date varies depending on who you ask. Blueface himself initially said he’d be out by March or April 2025. Then he wrote that he’d be home by July 2025. He’s still inside as of September 2025, so those dates were evidently optimistic.
His actual release date is supposedly sometime in 2025 or early 2026, depending on good behaviour and how the parole system works. But with Blueface’s track record, who knows?
What Eight Years Old Looks Like For Him
Javaughn J Porter was named by combining bits of both parents’ names. That’s actually quite sweet when you think about it; when they were still together and hopeful and hadn’t descended into whatever this is now.
He’s got Journey. Then there’s his half-brother from when Blueface had that complete car crash of a relationship with Chrisean Rock. That baby was born in September 2023, and the entire process unfolded on reality TV like a nightmare from our dystopian future.
So Javaughn’s got siblings he barely knows, a sister he lives with, a dad in prison, a mum juggling everything, and thousands of strangers watching his family implode online.
What a childhood.
Nearly Two Years Without Dad
January 2024 to September 2025. That’s twenty months. For an eight-year-old, that’s forever.
Blueface posts from prison sometimes. Workout videos. Phone interviews. He talks about how boring it is and that he’s a different person now, and that he can’t wait to come home.
But he was not there for Javaughn’s seventh birthday. He will probably miss his ninth, depending on when or if he’s actually released. He is not going to the parents’ evenings or school plays or football games or all those random Tuesday nights when your kid just needs you there.
Jaidyn’s doing all of it. Bath time and homework, packed lunches, dealing with shouting fits, and delivering explanations about where Daddy has gone. And she has Journey, who’s doing the same thing at five.
Oh, and she’s trying to launch her career. And Blueface’s family are there pitching in. Plus, the internet never shuts up about every decision she makes.
Will Prison Change Him
Let’s be realistic about the Johnathan Jamall Porter release date, whenever it actually happens. Say he gets out early in 2026. Javaughn J Porter will be nearly nine.
Think Blueface is suddenly going to be Father of the Year?
I doubt it. He’ll show up for the Instagram moments. Post photos with the kids. Talk about being a changed man in interviews. Then what? Back to the clubs? Back to making daft decisions? Back to whatever drama lands him in trouble next?
People don’t usually change that much. Especially not people who’ve spent years making the same mistakes over and over.
Journey’s Still Young Enough

Jaidyn posts normal stuff, such as birthday parties, days at the park, that sort of thing. Except it’s not normal when ten thousand people are commenting on photos of your kids. Some are saying nice things, others are being vile because that’s what internet strangers do.
Dad Had His Moment
“Thotiana“ was actually quite big back in 2018-2019. Blueface made proper money. His whole offbeat rapping thing was weird, but it worked for a bit.
Then he spent the next few years being an absolute disaster. Multiple arrests. Public relationship drama that played out like a soap opera. That time, he threw cash at homeless people in Skid Row and filmed it, thinking he was being generous instead of exploitative. Getting shot at. Shooting at people. Prison.
So Javaughn’s dad isn’t unknown. He’s famous enough that people recognise the name. Famous enough that his kids can’t just be kids without people knowing who their father is.
School Must Be Rough
Wonder what happens at school. Do the other kids know? Of course they do. Someone’s older sibling will have told them. Or their parents gossip.

The Sad Reality
Javaughn J Porter got dealt a rubbish hand. Didn’t pick his parents. Didn’t ask to be born into this situation. Didn’t choose to have his childhood documented online for entertainment.
He deserves better. Journey deserves better. They deserve parents who’ve sorted themselves out. They deserve privacy. They deserve to just be kids without everyone watching, judging and commenting.
But that’s not happening, is it? This family’s been a train wreck for years. Dad going to prison didn’t fix anything; it just added another layer of mess onto an already messy situation.
Jaidyn’s trying her best, but she’s one person dealing with too much. Blueface will probably come home eventually and be useless because that’s what he’s been so far. The kids will keep growing up in the spotlight whether they want to or not.
And Javaughn will remember all of it. Every bit. When he’s older and someone asks about his childhood, what’s he going to say? “Yeah, my dad was in prison half the time, and my parents were always fighting onlin,e and thousands of strangers knew everything about my life.”
