Prince Harry Cracks Trump Joke on US Talk Show

Prince Harry made a surprise cameo on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on 3 December 2025. In a festive comedy sketch, he played himself auditioning for a Hallmark-style Christmas movie called “Gingerbread Christmas Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska.”

The Joke

When asked why a real prince harry would want to star in such films Harry replied: “You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?”

Harry also joked: “I’ll record a self-tape, I’ll fly myself to an audition, settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House — all the things you people in TV do.”

When the host protested, Harry shot back: “Maybe that’s why you’re cancelled.”

In the end, the host crowned Harry the “official Late Show Prince of Christmas”, to cheers from the audience
