DUA Lipa and Callum Turner tied the knot on Sunday during an intimate ceremony attended by a handful of friends and family, and the internet is absolutely losing it. The British pop star, 30, and the Fantastic Beasts actor, 36, made it official at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 31. Photos published online show the thrilled newlyweds grinning from ear to ear as they walked down the town hall steps, with loved ones on either side throwing confetti and flower petals over them before the couple slipped into a waiting black car.

This love story has been years in the making, and it is genuinely one of the most charming meet-cute situations you will ever hear. Dua Lipa has said she first met Turner at The River Cafe in London. She was having dinner with her father. He was out with friends. The restaurant’s co-founder Ruthie Rogers introduced them, but nothing came of it. The timing just wasn’t right. The couple is said to be organising a lavish three-day celebration in Palermo, Sicily, expected to take place in September 2026 at the Villa Igiea. Italian newspaper Giornale di Sicilia reported on a wedding planner organising a full weekend of celebrations from September 5 to 7, with La Repubblica already calling it “the wedding of the year.” The Sicilian connection is personal, too. The couple spent part of the summer of 2025 at the Villa Igiea, eating their way through Palermo, playing cards over Campari sodas and Old Fashioneds, and clearly falling hard for the city.
As for the custom engagement ring Turner had made after quietly consulting Lipa’s sister and best friends, Dua Lipa summed it up best: “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me.” From a slow dance at a premiere to a town hall in Marylebone, with a Sicilian clifftop celebration still to come, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are very much on the same page.
